The things I’ve seen, The things I’ve watched
By Vivi L. G6
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
Two lovers,
Torn apart
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
A young girl, now an old woman
Going somewhere unknown
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
A meadow of lilies
Sparkle in the sun
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
The sun rises
And sets with a pink tint
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
People bathe in my ravine,
My icy cold waters bring back memories.
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
People cry and scream
Wonder and dream
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
Days go by,
And years pass
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
A new day,
Means new stories
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
Every day different
But the same
The things I’ve seen
The things I’ve watched
Somedays, I’m Ignored
Others I’m not
The things I’ve seen
The things I’ve watched
Memories have come,
Lessons have not
The things I’ve seen
The things I’ve watched
For I am nothing,
But a whisper in the dark
The things I’ve seen,
The things I’ve watched
